Fix Upwork Identity Verification

IDs in Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, or other non-Latin scripts have higher rejection rates. Upwork's OCR struggles with these characters, especially if there's any blur.

Upwork requires a video selfie where you move your head. Poor internet, bad lighting, or moving too fast causes failures. The "liveness check" is super sensitive.

Your Upwork profile name MUST match your ID exactly. Using a nickname, maiden name, or different name order (First Last vs Last First) will fail verification.

Upwork's document scanner is picky about edges, shadows, and background. Photos taken on beds, couches, or patterned surfaces often fail.

Without verification, you can't withdraw earnings, can't get Top Rated status, and some clients won't even see your proposals.

If you're billing $30/hour and can't work for 3 days because of verification issues, that's potentially $720 lost.
