Turn OFF your camera flash
Flash is the #1 cause of glare. Use natural light instead.

Face a window (not direct sunlight)
Soft, indirect daylight is ideal. Avoid sunny spots.

Turn off overhead lights
Ceiling lights directly above create reflections on laminated IDs.

Tilt your ID slightly
If your ID has holograms, angle it so they don't reflect rainbows.
